Our Commitment
LRC1031 targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance. Many of the people we serve are 55 and older, and we built the site with that in mind: larger default text sizes, generous line-height, and color contrast that works at small sizes too.
Standards and Posture
We aim for WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The site partially conforms today: most content meets the standard, with known limitations noted below. We audit the site for accessibility regressions before shipping changes, and we update this statement when the posture changes materially.
What We Test and Maintain
- Tap targets of at least 44 pixels on tool pages, calculator inputs, and form controls
- Form error messages that screen readers announce on validation, not red outlines alone
- Keyboard navigation across calculator tools, the broker portal, and primary navigation
- Color contrast verified at body text sizes on cream and forest-green surfaces
- Reduced-motion preferences respected on transitions and scroll-driven sections
- Alternative text on images and graphics, and descriptive link text throughout
- Properly structured headings, and resizable text that does not break layout
Known Limitations
Some third-party embeds, such as email-list signups, inherit the accessibility of their respective providers. We work with those providers when we can. If you hit a barrier from a third-party embed, please report it and we will look into a workaround.
